General Public Viewing Hours, throughout Festival Week–Suggested donation at the door of $5 per adult and child older than 6:

- Sunday, November 30: 10 am – 6 pm
- Monday, December 1: 1:30 pm – 8 pm
- Tuesday, December 2: 10 am – 8 pm
- Wednesday, December 3: 10 am – 7 pm
- Thursday, December 4: 10 am – 4:30 pm
- Friday, December 5: 10 am – 5 pm; 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Saturday, December 6: 9 am – 4 pm
- Sunday, December 7: 10 am – 2 pm
The annual Lawrence Festival of Trees, held during the holiday season, is the primary fundraising event for The O’Connell Children’s Shelter. Businesses, clubs, children’s groups, families and organizations donate Christmas trees and wreaths to be displayed for the entire Lawrence community to enjoy. The trees and wreaths are all decorated with inventive and whimsical themes in mind, and are auctioned off at the gala Festival of Trees event.
All of the money raised by this event goes to benefit the children, youth and families served by The O’Connell Children’s Shelter. Proceeds from this event have been used to enhance services as well as make capital improvements.
Groups, individuals and businesses decorate themed trees or wreaths or gingerbread houses for the auction. Join in the tradition!
