O’Connell Children’s Shelter’s Amazon Wishlist has items on it that youth need or would enjoy playing with, learning from, or using. Things purchased from this list can be given to youth on the day they arrive, as welcome presents, or used for stocking our buy-out shelves in the “ranch store.” Young men at the ranch earn “trust bucks” for meeting daily expectations at the ranch. The ranch store makes available toys, games, apparel, educational materials, and other exciting things youth can buy using “trust bucks” they earn at the ranch. If you’ve ever been to Chuck-E-Cheese, it’s similar to the shelves there that provide interesting items to be exchanged for tickets, only we have items for older kids too. We like to keep the shelves full with new and exciting things.
